CHARGED FOR DEBIT CARD - ATM FAULTY

Two weeks ago I was at a Standardbank ATM at Hercules Pretoria. I tried to withdraw money at the ATM and even got the Notification SMS on my cellphone that the money was withdrawn. I waited and waited 5 minutes while the machine was counting the money and then an on screen message on the ATM machine informed me that the ATM was faulty. The machine did not return my card. Later at home I saw that the transaction was reversed.
So last week Friday I went to Standard bank at Pretoria church square branch and told them what happened and they issued a new card. Today when I logged into internet bank I found that I was charged R76.00 for a new card and R3.00 for a pin reset that was done inside the bank on my new card.
So today I phoned the call centre on 0861201000 and they said If I have problem with the price of the card I must go to the branch that issued the card. I cant, so now I must just accept that they took my money for a fault on their side. I am not happy. Where must I go inside the bank? Must I fight with them, when will I be able to go there again? I do not appreciate what Standardbank did to me, does this happen at other banks also?
