I was using mother's car when I moved to Jo-burg for a new job in October 2011. The car was outside the office on the 18th March this year. When I moved My mother called ABSA iDirect to let them know and they said the premium will go up which she did not refuse. They even called me for an interview to verify things like where I stay and where I park the car. At the end of October 2011 I had an accident where I was hit by a truck from behind. We contacted the insurance and they paid excess and referred me to a panel beater in Vanderbijlpark. Now that the car was Vikash refuses to pay us out. He said I don't appear in their system as a co driver. When we ask him why they paid for the accident in 2011 he said it was a small claim. My mother requested someone that works for insurance to assist and that was when Vikash requested a copy of the Lock book and de-registration letter from traffic department. Both where sent about a month ago if I'm not mistaken and he has not responded. We asked for a written response if they are not going to pay but still no response.
