Anderson Insurance is an absolute deceit of insurance. I'm currently assisting my mother with her claim and got the shock of my life when I received her excess letter. Basically the excess is 10% of the damage or R3000 if 10% is less than R3000. Then comes the R3000 which they call "No third Party Excess". So you pay for not being in an accident that involves 3rd party? The claim amount is about R7000 this basically means that they covering about 14% of the claim. Total excess amounts to R3000. My mother is shocked by all this and says she was never told by all of this.
The No third Party Excess was never communicated to my mother. RMB should stop underwriting this company to salvage their great reputation in the industry.
