In 2007 December I bought a H1 Hyundai bakkie that came with a trailer as a package. About four months later 2008 it was in an accident and the bakkie was written off. Trailer remained and the bakkie was replaced by my insurance and I continued with outstanding amount. Latter on the trailer was in an accident. I parked it because it needed repairs. Every time the trailer license disc was due I would renew it even though I was not using it. In 2011-04-30 it expired and before that, I went to the license department to cancel it, until I repair it and get it on the road again. I was not successful because the trailer is registered under MFC. I requested MFC to give me the registration papers, I was told that they don't have any records of the trailer while the traffic department can confirm it belongs to MFC. In 2011-09-22 my bakkie was stollen and insurance paid off the outstanding amount which initially included the trailer.
On the 20-11-2012 I started enquiring on email about the registration. The response was that it will be investigated. The person responsible was Wandile Tshabalala who has since left the company and and since then I have had little if any response.
