I am very disappointed in Standard Bank. I purchaced electricity via cellphone banking on 13 May and found out (after they took my money) that Potch municipality does not have the facility. In other words the transaction went through without me getting the electricity or a refund. I have been logging complaints 4 times already without any success. I have been to the bank, the municipality and spoke with 2 people.on the telephone without any luck. I am a student so R260 lost because of people who don't know what to do is too much!! The bank replied on two of my complaints with a token number (that does.not work because our region does not work with electricity purchased via cellphone banking) but when I reply and ask them to call me or.atleast refund me, they do not respond!!
