I purchased prepaid elec. to the value of R350 thru cellphone banking on Sun 15 Sept. at 10 past midnight. I rcvd an SMS that the money had been taken from my account, and I rcvd another SMS to say that the request could not be processed due to a technical error. I never rcvd the token. On Sun morning I checked my online banking and noted that the transaction history had shown an amount of R350 had been deducted. There was no record of the purchase in the elec. history. I proceeded to claim my Free Basic Electricity (FBE) of 60kWh. On Mon 16 Sept. I phoned Premier Banking. I was informed that there was a known technical issue with the elec purchases, and was provided with the same FBE token I had claimed the day before. I was further informed me that the the issue would be resolved by Wed and that I would either receive a refund or be provided the elec token. I was never contacted. On Thu 19 Sept. I sent an email to premier banking detailing the issue. I never rcvd a response. On Fri 20 Sept. I entered the Pinelands branch and was provided the same FBE token as before. To date I have not rcvd the elec I purchased and have not rcvd a refund.
