ABSA FUNERAL POLICY 24 DAYS AND STILL NO PAYMENT

We submitted my mother funeral claim on 10/06/2013 at the Absa branch Stilbaai! On 12/06/2013 on phoned the absa life call centre and i was adviced to mail them my dad's fnb statement so that the money can be paid into his account. On 25/6/2013 the money was still not paid after Absa advertize the policy pays out within 48 Hours. I phoned again. Patrick from the call centre confirms that they did receive the statement and that he will forward the claim for the assessors for urgent payment! On 28/06/2013 phoned again! Mercia confirmed that it was send through for payment and it is now in the que awaitng payment! she will mark it urgent so that the money will be paid within 48 hours! Today on 3/7/2013 my father phoned and was told they are waiting for the statement! i phoned and asked to speak to the manager! He or she was not available nor any of the team leaders - very convienant! i then insisted that this in unexceptable and want to speak to someone! I was put on hold for about 20 min and was then told that Lydia the Teamleader approved the claim while I was holding and she sent it through for payment! WHAT DO I BELIEVE OR DO NOW! THIS IS REALLY A DISGRACE!
