We submitted a funeral claim last October 2012. My brother died in April 2012. According to Ruwyda Aversali the policy lapsed in February 2012. According to her the last payment was made on 26.03.2011. I don't know who made that payment because my brother had no interest in paying a funeral plan. My mum took out policies for all the children when we started working. This was around 1978. She kept on paying his until 2006. I phoned this lady a few times afterwards. Everytime she promised to look into the problem and to report back to me. This never happened. I phoned her on 2. 16.11.2012, 03.01.2013, 19.01.2013, 28.01.2013. I even faxed her the last invoice my mother got. No response. This was a policy paid for for more than 30 years. How can it lapse? We had to pay for his funeral ourselves.
