Debit order going on the wrong date

My pay date has been changed from the 25 of every month to the 31 of each month. I have gone to the Alberton branch to communicate these changes and even phoned the call centre but still the debit order is still going off oon the 25 of each month. The bank charges are high and I have done everything in my power to prevent this situation. Somebody help me please!
