I was registered for online banking with FNB in 2007 and then my acc expired. I went to the branch 2 weeks ago and got a new card and the lady at the branch assisted me with re-registering and creating a new pin and password. I logged in last week and saw my accounts. Today when i logged in it said no acc balances available. so i called the call centre and spoke to Gerald. he asked me for my id number and then there was silence and i needed to keep asking him what was happening and he said his system is slow. i then told him what the problem was and he put me on hold and when he came back he said that the acc was old and was registered in 2007 and i explained to him over and over again that i did all of this when i went into the branch. he then said he had to de register the acc that is the only way it will work so i told him go ahead as by then i knew i wasnt going to get anywhere. He put me on hold again and when he came back he them said i have to re register and then it asked for a card pin which he didnt tell me i needed. So now i do not have online banking and have to wait till tomorrow till i get my pin. he sounded half asleep and this is not how FNB is advertised on tv.
