I have banked with Absa for many years (and now I wonder why I ever bothered) I have all my investments etc with them. I have been in the process of moving banks, finally realised that my business isn't worth much to them. So I cancelled my Internet banking early in June, access was revoked immediately but they have the audacity to charge me for a FULL month??? how is that fair when I did NOT have access? I have no problem with a prorata charge. Why am I paying for an entire month with no service???
