FAILING THE CONSUMER

I must say that I am disappointed at the way that i have been treated this morning by Andrea Du Plessis from FNB's personal loans department. All i wanted to do was query about the interest and other accumulative charges towards my personal loan, not that i was even disputing any of this to begin with but mainly wanted to understand what i am being charged for, this is my legal right.

Instead of this lady understanding what it is that i query or even make an effort to even try and start doing her job and explain to me as a consumer what i am being legally charged for, she tells me and i quote "BUT YOU HAVE SIGNED", that was not the issues nor the problem here. I am aware that i have signed but that does not exclude me from wanting to understand the loan agreement with FNB a year later. I do not understand the terms and conditions fully nor the jargon as i do not work for FNB or any other bank for that matter.
I want somebody to call me and tell me exactly how many other consumers get the same treatment but choose to keep quite about it. This does not sit well with me as i have always banked with FNB from my teens. I might even reconsider buying our house direct through FNB.
