On 04 June, I called Card Division requesting that my account be closed and that I will settle my account. I was given a settlement value, which I paid and I sent the email as advised by the call centre. On the 5th June, I received an email stating that a consultant will call me. Today, Standard Bank has levied fees on my account to the value of about R51. No one has ever called me. I want my Credit Card account closed and am not willing to pay the R51 as I did send Card Division the email timeously.
