I opened an account on 23 June 2013. I was given a card and told that, as they had limited functionality on a Sunday, it would only be activated the next day.
My salary has now gone into the account. I attempted to register for online banking, but the card number is not valid. I phoned, to find out that the card was not activated, and there was no card on the system. It is month end, and I am told that I have to go into the branch again, on the busiest day of the month, or I cannot access my money.
I am really disappointed. I passed Standard bank over, even with their better pricing, for FNB hoping for good service.
