I called FNB years back to settle an outstanding credit card. I spoke to so many peoplee and have still not received any help regarding the settlement of this credit card. After numerous calls I was told that the account is with the legal department as it was written off as bad debt. This month 26.06 R200 gets deducted off my account and when I query this I am told that it is for my credit card, which I had years ago meaning debt is older than 3 -5 years and when I wanted to do settlement I was told the debt was written off not once did any consultant phone me nor have I received letters for arrangements. As far as I am concern this debt is prescribed. Please can someone call me back soonest as it is impossible to get through to your legal department.
