First National Bank
FNB Card division illegally collecting prescribed

I have noticed on my bank account that one day after a deposit was made, FNB card division took money out of my bank account as an "instalment" on a debt that is more than 7 years old and has long prescribed. I have never received any correspondence or had any contact with FNB CARD DIVISION regarding this matter for the past 7 years - no summons, etc. From the statement of my account it is clear that NO summons or judgement has been instituted, so YOU ARE TAKING A CHANCE to collect this money ILLEGALLY???
If that amount of R2480 which was taken out of my bank account is not deposited back into my account by end of business TODAY, this matter WILL be taken further and I WILL institute legal action against FNB CARD LEGAL DIVISION for ILLEGALLY TRYING TO COLLECT PRESCRIBED DEBT and all the legal costs will be for the account of FNB. Furthermore, you are aware that listing prescribed debt on a credit bureau is specifically prohibited by the regulations to the National Credit Act and any attempt to list me will result in a defamation of character claim against you and if THIS CREDIT CARD DEBT IS NOT WRITTEN OFF AND
