I had a dispute with Byojet about a flight that I wanted refunded. Byojet refused to refund the flight, but had not at any point during the flight booking process informed me that the flight was non-refundable. I instructed my bank to reverse the payment, which they did. The mercahnt then sent through some documents to the bank that were e-mailed to me by Petrus Ntuli, but I was unable to open them and I requested that he re-send these and explain exactly what his e-mail meant, i.e. the outcome of the investigation. I have not heard from Petrus since and I noticed on my bank statement that the bank has re-paid Byojet the money out of my credit card without even allowing me to understand or have the information to establish on what grounds they are doing that. Surely, I am entitled to some form of support and protection from Standrad Bank as a loyal account holder since 1998??? What right do they have to give people that I am in dispute with access to my money???
