My account was changed to the "Gold Cheque account @ R99.00 pm" in May 2012. All was fine for the 1st few months. But then I started experiencing periodic pricing problem - the old higher incorrect amount was being deducted - this inconvenience was bearable as it was reversed every time queried (occurred monthly)
However, after noticing that an incorrect charge of R410 was deducted for the months of November and December, I sent an email to the "Standard Bank Customer Contact Centre" for this to be rectified as the person who previously corrected this error had resigned. Their response was that I should visit the nearest Branch.
Surely, this can be fixed without me visiting the branch - how was it previously corrected.
This is extremely annoying
