Incorrect reporting to ITC -refuse to correct

The account was under debt review and paid monthly on time every month up till June 2012 at which point it was settled and the account closed. in August we discovered that Standard bank had been incorrectly reporting that the account was being paid 30 days behind for the last four months prior to closure. I contacted Standard Bank and was shunted around till at last someone apologised and helped me through to the ITC department who promised me that all would be rectified and the history corrected to "ok" for those last four months. This was in Jan of this year. I simultaneously logged a dispute with the credit bureaus. Now it's 20 days later and xds comes back to me saying that Standard Bank says it must stay as it is!! I call Standard bank and am kept on hold and shunted through 9 different people, who are all supposed to be able to help me but then cant, for two hours!! then I'm left on hold till everyone gone! Can the credit History please just be fixed so that we can move on with our lives!
