False Promises

On all the radio ads FNB's whole campaign for new business is getting a Smart phone when opening an account. So for that reason I did, I filled in all the forms, got my card, went through the entire process of debit switching etc. And then applied online for ordering the new Samsung S4, when low and behold a week later declined with no reasoning, I went online to apply for a call back with no decency of a reply. In the end I had to take an hour off work to go into the bank, I was then told that I was too high a risk to get a phone but they could not let me know why, as I have various other clothing and cell phone accounts that are all up to date. The only reason I opened the account was for the phone and when I threatened to close my account for their false promises they couldn't care less. Very outraged for this reason and am closing my account.
