First National Bank
Switching to FNB via Phone or Online

I have been one of the unfortunate people to fall for FNB's!
The friendly "Steve" on the radio and the ads on TV on how easy it is to switch to FNB!
So far it's been nothing short of a nightmare!
I have applied for a Gold Cheque Account and the forms that I was supposed to fill in was mailed to me...
First I received forms for a Personal Loan which I never applied for so I phoned them back and the correct forms (debit order and salary switching forms) were sent through.
I filled these in and sent them back on 5 April 2013 (Friday), I then phoned them on the 8th (Monday) and they informed me that they hadn't received anything so I mailed the forms through again and phoned them on the 9th to check whether they received the forms. They guy that I spoke to said that it takes 24 to 48 hours for it to be registered on their system and would I please phone back on Thursday to confirm. So I did phone back this morning only to be informed that NO still nothing has been received. Does these mails disappear into a black hole??
Don't be fooled by the ads on TV and think it will be such a breeze switching to FNB as they make it out to be!!
