Outsurance
6 Weeks to fix a car and using counterfeit parts

I had an accident on 4 April 2013. I phoned Outsurance and they suggested I take my car to Autospray. The only date available was 6 May 2013 for the booking. I took my vehicle in on 6th of May 2013. After a week I was notified that they have received a bumper and was looking for a second hand tailgate. I was not happy about that and notified Outsurance on which they replied a new genuine tailgate was ordered. On 5 June I received an sms that my car was ready for collection. I was so upset when I arrived at Autospray. The bumper was not aligned and did not fit, as it was a counterfeit part. Outsurance never sent an Assessor to sign off the repairs. They ordered a new genuine bumper as soon as they saw that I was unhappy. Outsurance is not bending backwords for their clients. They send an e-mail from the Ombudsman to show me that is fine to use counterfeit / fake parts. What about the safety risk if those parts are not SABS approved? I am not a happy customer! It is 11 June and I am still without my vehicle!
