I moved my account from ABSA to FNB and am starting to regret my decision. In December I visited the Karaglen Branch to lodge a claim. The staff were ever so friendly and ever so helpful assuring me that this would be looked into as a matter of urgency, that the account in question would be suspended until the matter could be resolved and that one way or another, I would get my money back. I was promised feedback in 6-8 weeks. Well, 6 MONTHS later here we are. This after numerous phone calls and messages which are never returned. When you do get hold of the people you are looking for, they promise you that they will come back to you immediately and they never do. Today I am told that the reason I didn't get a call back last week Monday as promised is because they cannot get hold of the customer!!! So that's it. WOW. I even logged a formal complain on 31 May reference number 672PTLII and to date have not had anyone contact me about this. I am appalled at the level of service given my FNB. How can we help you??? Perhaps they should rethink their slogan.
