First National Bank
How long does it take to apply for credit card?

I applied for a credit card in December last year before Christmas. I got the quote, signed it and took it into Adderley street branch. I was told it would take a week to process. Two weekslater after getting no response from fnb, I decide to call Premier banking and speak to Elizabeth who tells me thatmyapplication 'expired' and I need to reapply. She sends me updated Quote which I sign plus I send her all documents. She guarantees me that my application will take 2-3 working days. That was last Saturday. 12/12/13. I get no response after 3 working days.

I call in to premier banking on Wednesday, Thursday with mixed excuses from various people.
On Friday eventually I get to speak to Elizabeth again that was @ around 12pm and she says the supervisor is going to update my profile in 2 hours as my card has been approved. Saturday I decide to call in again and speak to Vuyo. She tells me there is nothing on my profile "and she needs to speak to supervisor again on Monday"

At this point my patience is wearing thin as I need my credit card ASAP. The service for a platinum customer at fnb is very bad. Not world class service if you ask me.
