On Friday, at 10:59am R3000 was withdrawn from my bank account. I was not aware of this only until after 22:30 that evening when I received an sms notifying me of this withdrawal. (Are these not meant to be received instantaneously?) I then immediately logged it & was given a reference no and told it would be 3 working days until an investigator contacts me and as a precautionary measure my accounts will be frozen. It has now been 4 working days with no contact made. My accounts have been frozen and when I called in on Tuesday (I was even in to the bank) I was told I have to now wait 10 working days whereby it will be decided IF I will be reimbursed. I am highly annoyed and frustrated by the lack of interest shown by Standard Bank. Because I was not asked to give a statement as yet. I have no money to my name at present and how am I expected to wait when nobody has called to even hear my side of the story? I enquired about where the transaction took place and not even that question could be answered. I was just told it happened at another bank. I didn't draw any money on Friday so I need this resolved ASAP yet I feel like a suspect. Signed FRUSTRATED!!!
