Why wait 15 working days? it`s not my fault!!!

26/5/2013 I attempted to make a withdrawal at a standard bank atm at a local shopping complex, my card was retained and worse of all it reflected that the atm dispensed the cash, which was not the case. Matter was reported the same evening and my debit card was stopped. I was told to report the money matter the following day because this could only be reported during the week.i Called standard bank 27/5/2013 and received the worse news ever, i will have to wait 15 working days for the matter to be resolved, not assuring that my account would be credited. I was given this ref number 53376730, i suppose i must pay my accounts with this reference number.
Firstly; this was not my fault that the atm retained my bank card and why should i wait 15 working days for the matter to be looked at? i need to still pay two accounts and i definitely cannot wait 15 working days to get my R5000 refunded. THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!! Standard bank really needs to consider their customers.
I need my money and i need it yesterday... this 15 working day policy is basically waiting one month!! rubbish!!!
