I deposit my salary cheque into my account every month but have to, unfortunately, phone in every month & practically "beg" for my "salary" cheque to be cleared. Even after putting bright yellow sticky notes on my cheque, deposit slip as well as envelope to "remind" the tellers that this is a salary cheque & NEEDS ti be cleared immediately. This is extremely frustrating & leaves me in a really tight, difficult situation. I am really extremely disgusted at the service that the Vereeniging branch offers. This matter has been escalated through with the branch manager but obviously nothing has come off it. I feel that Standard Bank should STOP renovating the offices & start renovating their SERVICES. Totally, totally disguted...
