I urgently need help please.
I have a Nedbank personal loan with a policy in the event of retrenchment. Last year January I was retrenched. I filled in all the paperwork and Nedbank Life paid R12000 into my loan to cover me for 5 months installments. In the meantime I still made arrangements to pay a small amount on my loan wilst I was retrenched. I then got a notification from Nedbank that my loan is in arrears. They took the R12000 and reduced the loan amount and still expected full payment on installments. I have been battling for 9 months to get them to rectify it, and to explain that the money paid to the loan was for 5 installments, not for the loan to be reduced. Now I am listed on ITC because of this. I am not getting anywhere in resolving this with Nedbank and no one seems to care to sort this out. I am more than willing to pay my loan, but not until this is resolved.
