Over the december period I spent money from my cheque account at various merchants, and the transactions went off my account, So to my knowledge my account balance updated. I checked my balances and everything was ok. Now they tell me that these transactions infact didn't go off on those said dates but only went off three weeks later, after the fund was depleted. Now they call me and tell me that I owe them x amount. When I swipe for something I expect my money to go to the merchant or at least to some holding account that standard bank has with these merchants. So standard bank has been lying to me about the actually state of my account, what you see is not what you get!
