I Have a vehicle financed through Absa for over a year now and suddenly got debited for insurance on my vehicle. I currently do have insurance and did not authorised this. When speaking to a call centre agent after being on hold for at least 15 minutes or more at any given time I just get an apology and no commitment. I noticed that I am only one of many being caught by this and will take all my business to another bank. I find this to be and will be taking this matter further (even if it resolves in going to the media) should I not have a response by the end of the day. Don't see any reason why I need to wait 4-5 working days for money that was fraudally taken from my account. I did fax prove of insurance through to the bank on Monday 2013/06/03 and did not get any feedback from the bank. Also spoke to a call centre agent on the same day and requested to speak to a manager and by no surprise, had now feedback yet.
