Good day

I am utterly disgusted, disappointed and upset with ABSA's service.
I purchased a vehicle and it was financed through ABSA. The vehicle was insured by OUTSURANCE when we bought the car last year and have been paying our premiums ever since!!!

To my shock I noticed ABSA debited my bank account with an additional R700 /-

I was not informed that this was going to take place and needless to say I took it up with ABSA .

The person I spoke to explained that they need proof that the our vehicle is insured, and ABSA will be taking out an additional insurance premium which I will be responsible for until such time.???

I shared my frustration and demanded my money back. I forwarded them proof that we took out insurance cover with OUTSURANCE on this vehicle.

GUESS WHAT? I got no feedback to inform me and apologise for the inconvenience.
Instead they decided to rub salt into the wound and debited my account with an additional R700 /-.

Which means the in total they took an UNAUTHORISED R1400.00 /- from my personal bank account.
I will take this matter further because this is PATHETIC and I have to suffer financially because of their incompetence
