I have my own vehicle insurance. ABSA just debited my account with insurance amount of R1900.00 FOR A CHERRY QQ 2010 MODEL VALUE OF CAR IS - R40, 000. But worse - I have own insurance in place and ABSA CALL CENTRE phones me to tell me my ACCOUNT IS IN ARREARS??? Why did they not phone me to ask for the proof - apparently I have to provide once a year -??? They decided to debit my account and reflect negatively on my account whilst I have insurance.

For the record - I did hand in FICA documents to ABSA BRANCH to update - but where are those?
Call centre was requested to send me via e-mail statement and I will forward insurance proof - wait for e-mail/ sms from ABSA.
