Finalization of claim

I had a motorcycle accident and logged a claim with mi way. They took the motorcycle to a bike shop to get a quote and their assessor assessed the motorcycle. i was being helped by Katlego Sibanyoni. I was advised by him that as Mi way did not have any motorcycle repair-shops which they worked with they would transfer the money for the bike to get fixed minus the excess into my account and that i would be responsible for getting the bike fixed. i asked to be given a day to go through my policy, that was the last time i heard from the gentleman.i tried numerous times to call him and sent him emails requesting that we finalize the issue and i did not get a response. i eventually got through to the mi way call center and was helped by a lady called Kgaogelo Masenamela and she told me i would have to fill a disclaimer form for them to be able to finalize my claim. she sent through the form for me to sign and send back to her which i did the same day (27 May 2013).
i have not received any feedback regarding the status of the finalization process. my car and bike are insured with Mi way but the service i am getting leaves a bad taste in my mouth. must i run after them to fix my bike?
