Bike Zone
Wrong part & faulty workmanship

2012-11-28 - I take delivery of my motorcycle from Bike Zone after repair work was completed. Bike Zone quoted R7280 for replacement of front cylinder head for my Honda VTR1000 SP1 including head gasket, oil, oil filter, exhaust gaskets, valve stem seals, some oil seals and labour.
2012-11-29 - I returned to Bike Zone to report a ticking sound from the engine to Eugene Perino. Eugene did not investigate the engine noise for himself and simply dismissed me claiming the noise was related to the type of oil in the motorcycle.
2013-01-03 - While riding my motorcycle suddenly had a loss of power and the engine cuts out. Total distance travelled is only 1965km. The first major problem we noticed was that the cam caps were installed incorrectly.
2013-01-07 - 2013-01-30 I visited Bike Zone to report the damage to my motorcycle. Eugene did admit that the cam caps were installed incorrectly from pictures I have emailed him. Neither Deon nor Eugene has deemed it necessary to inspect the damage for themselves and I have not heard a reasonable offer as far as finding a solution to fix my bike is concerned. Bike Zone's response to my legitimate complaint has been shocking.
