The processing of the claim was a very pleasant experience. But that's where it stopped. No assistance, no returning emails, even no answer on calls. If its not ringing all the time the line is busy. My claim assistant stated that i have a off road motorcycle claim and that my claim will be paid out to me once the assessor had a look at the motorcycle and quote i received. I know KTM is not made in South-Africa and ordered the parts so long. I had to pay for all the parts. Last week after about 20 calls and 3 weeks to Virgin insurance they say that my bike must be repaired at a bike shop that does not even work on off road motorcycles. Funny thing is the quote for that shop was R5000 more than the quote i received from a ktm dealer. Maybe its because the assessor took that motorcycle shops guy with him as a friend to give a quote.
I said that i am not happy with this service and it was send to a higher department. Its been a week. Still no reply.
Now you wonder what will happen with a vehicle accident claim? I am very worried!!
