NEW CHEQUE CARD

I'M NOT IMPRESSED WITH FNB AND THE WAY THEY TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS. I'VE BEEN AN FNB CUSTOMER FOR ALMOST 10 YEARS AND THOUGH THERE ARE MILLIONS OF US OUT THERE, IT DOESN'T MEAN THAT YOU SHOULD TREAT US LIKE WE'RE NOT IMPORTANT. I HAVE A NEW CARD WHICH I FETCHED FROM THE LONG STREET BRANCH & ONLY MY ID DOCUMENT WAS REQUESTED. A WEEK LATER I CAN'T TRANSACT FROM THAT ACCOUNT BECAUSE APPARENTLY THEY DID NOT DO ALL THE NECESSARY DOCUMENT CHECKS. TODAY I WENT TO CLARIFY THIS WITH THEIR WATERFRONT BRANCH & WAS TOLD THAT BECAUSE MY BRANCH IS IN LONG STREET THEY WILL HAVE TO SORT THE HOLD ON THEIR SIDE AND THAT THIS WILL ONLY TAKE MINUTES. HOURS LATER I'M STILL UNABLE TO USE MY CARD NOR MAKE ANY TRANSACTIONS ON THE ACCOUNT. THE BRANCHES DON'T ANSWER THEIR PHONES EVEN THOUGH THE CONSULTANT PROMISED TO CALL ME AND LET ME KNOW ONCE THIS HAS BEEN DONE. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY I HAVE TO BE INCONVENIENCED LIKE THIS. ITS MONTH END AND I HAVE BILLS TO PAY BUT THANKS TO FNB, I CANNOT DO ANY OF THAT. IF I'D KNOWN THAT I WOULD BE RECEIVING THIS KIND OF TREATMENT FROM THIS BANK I WOULD HAVE NEVER BOTHERED OPENING ANOTHER ACCOUNT WITH YOU. SORT OUT THIS ISSUE OR GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY THAT'S STUCK WITH YOU
