Applied for a Prestige banking Package and was approved during the month of September 2013. The undertaking to have my first salary deposited in the account on the 28th of September which was duly done. On Monday 23 September a VAF application was reject instantaneously due to the "conduct of my current" account. A brand new account with no transactions. I submitted my previous bank statements and the finance was approved. At this point VAF send an e-mail to my Prestige Banker - I am still waiting for her call a week down the line. On Friday; 28th September I tried to transact via internet banking and current account card transactions. All transactions were declined. Went to the Branch to get it sorted. Branch said sorted and went back to office. Still could not transact. Went back to Branch, they closed at 16h00. Saturday morning went back to branch (after I cancelled my cycle race). Whitney Marere assisted in a big way but I had left the branch and had to return again due to the current account card being unable to transact. I still can't transact. Phoned Prestige Banking call centre - prompted that I could hold for 10 minutes. Called complaints - can take 1 to 5 days.
