Standard Bank

I opened up a savings account @ Standard bank long street as my patner and i are saving for wedding in October, when we checked the balance, different amounts was withdrawn adding up to the amount of R10 000 . After spending hours on the phone I went into the branch, requested statement which shows atm withdrawals that i have no recollection of as im the only one who had the card and know the pin. It even states that i withdrew money at 2 different places at the same time. I called the dept and spoke to a person named Gautas on the 8/05/2013, who after asking me questions promised to log my report and stop my card immediately, he gave me a reference number too. Its more than 2 weeks later without any response. I called again and was told that no report was logged and they have no record of my report. I have spent hours on the phone, lost R10 000 and have to postpone my wedding!!! This bank just could not be bothered and to think i trusted these with my money! I closed the savings account and im closing my cheque account too. Theres no way i will trust them with my salary every month. My advice... STAY AWAY FROM STANDARD BANK
