Im really at a loss for words

I found out today that a cheque account i had closed at the centurion branch 2 years ago is still open. My sister mistakenly deposited R500 into my old account and she says it went through. Obviously i told her it would bounce back because i closed that account years ago.

She called me to say that the money has not bounced back into her account and her bank cannot do anything about that. So here I go marching in to my closest nedbank. To my surprise they tell me that the account was never closed and i have accumulated close to R1500 in bank charges. Apparently the R500 that was deposited has offset against the balance of these bank fees.

Now I dont know what to do because apparently the only way i can get assistance is by going into centurion. WFT

Why must i go there? I dont even live close there and I dont even have a car to get me there so I dont know how Im going to get my money back because I need it.

Now the only thing I need from nedbank is to reverse the R500 into the account it was transferred from and close this account a.s.a.p. I reallly have no liss to come into your bank again. Thats the whole point of closing the account.
