Worst bank and service delivery in SA by fa

On being informed that closing my savings account and opening an investment account would yield more value I did as advised! I sat at the branch while they cut up my card and apparently closed my account! Only later to find out this account was never closed and currently sat in negative! So I called customer care and was informed if I settle the account they will close it over the phone for me! So I paid the negative amount incurred from bank charges (which shouldn't be my cost to pay) to be told the account is dormant! DUH! So I sit for another 20 minutes to fix this issue and am informed that I can call back tomorrow and I will be able to close the account! My phone call the next day is met with surprise as I am told that you cannot close the account over the phone even though various agents assured me this was possible! So off to the nearest branch which at lunch time only had one person helping customers so well done to you Nedbank for wasting another one of my lunch hours and most importantly my time and money because no one knows what the they are doing or talking about! Those FNB ads now will forever in my mind refer to Nedbank! The worst beeping bank! Time to move!
