I visted the Maponya Mall branch to reverse a debit order and was advised I needed a letter from the people who debited my account before they can do that. Funny I dont even know who those people are, I was given a number to call them by a consultant at the branch but it goes through to FNB who told me they needed to speak to a bank consultant. This means i need to go back to the branch. My complaint is, realisticly speaking, there are unknown debits coming off my account and with this idiotic rule of getting a letter of approval for the debit order to be reversed it means my money with Capitec is not safe. I'm changing banks, thanks for nothing Capitec! Stupid decision what were you thinking! I want answers or else my money back!
