My car accident was on the 15th December and reported the case immediately however the consultant came back to me with a consent form to sign in order for them to get the hospital report. I then went to cape town and came back on the 01st of January2013 and i submitted the documents on the 02nd of January 2013. I then emailed him 04th of January and he told me that the people dealing with the report is only back on the 07/01/2013 and i was ok with it. Then i emailed him again 14/01/2013 and then he replied to say that the person with the file at the hospital is only back the 15/01/2013. Unacceptable 2 dates!!! I then tried calling him on the 17/01/2013 and then emailed him with no reply. I tried calling him again on the 18/01/2013 and NO ANSWER then phoned the call centre and spoke to Nishal where he advised me that he will speak to Adriaan and ask him to look into the matter. I just feel that this was UNACCEPTABLE from a company where the member had to follow up all the time and he did not even call me once to give me an update of the case. I will take this to the Ombudsman because I am not getting joy from the insurance and i pay my premium every month without fail. Gail
