I recently made some purchases on my Standard Bank Cheque Card and my account was debited. The purchases then disappeared and my account and my account was credited as if the purchases never took place, then whenever Standard Bank feels like re-debiting my account they do so (this is up to 2 weeks later) - it is then my responsibility to make sure there is cash in the account otherwise Standard Bank charges me an 'honouring fee' of R120.00 as they did on the 24/05. There was money in the account the day the purchases were made! They money was debited off my account! And then for whatever reason credited and re-debited! This happens regularly and Standard Bank has the audacity to charge me for their stuff-ups. Please refund me the R120.00 honouring fee as it is your mistake! On top of all this I only transferred all my cash out of the account as my card was eaten by one of YOUR FAULTY ATMS and so I did so as a precautionary measure. FYI - your Fourways Lower Level ATM is completely! Fix it!
