Over Limit Charges

During January I constantly checked my balance, and allowed enough in the account for purchases,
After I was done with my purchases I transferred the remaining cash to my FNB account, a few days later
I get a nasty call from Standard Bank that my Check account is over drawn - Imagine my surprise as I dont have an overdraft on this account and usually my transactions are declined once there is no more cash in the account. I was then promptly charged 720 rand bank fee for them to honer the transactions made which did not reflect on my account balance, I dont think it is correct to charge me for their systems failure - my account should have reflected a valid balance and not allowed me to EFT or purchase items if there was no more money in the account -I rely on the bank to show a valid balance and it is not up to me to count every transaction and double check the banks statement - I think it is time to change banks
