POOR POOR POOR POOR SERVICE

On Saturday I visited the bank (Midrand branch) with proof of residence and my ID so that my account can be unfrozen.
the lady told me she cant accept my proof of residence letter as it was sent by email. but that was not explained to me when i called the call centre on Thursday, they told me as long as the statement has my full names and address it is okay.
I then asked the lady who was assisting me how come my proof of residence does not appear and she checked my profile and said to me it shows that i did submit those documents when I first opened the account but they are lost or cant be found, and she cant assist me since she was not working there 2 years back. that's unprofessional firstly. she then said the only thing she can assist with is to unfreeze my account temporarily.

why am i suffering for the unproffesionalism of the bank or whoever assisted me when I firts opened the account. i am atturly disgusted with Standard bank. i think this is my q to switch banks.

standard bank what happened to the documents i submitted two years ago. i have a job dont have time to visit the bank everyday.
