What a frustration I opened up a new account with fnb over the phone. I received the card today but there was no pin code I went to the branch at Kolonnade where my card was activated and was told I need to bring my ID and proof of residence so I had to go home to get it as I was not advised of this. When I got to back to fnb I was told they can not use this proof of residence funny enough this was the same proof of residence I used when fnb approved my 1.5m home loan, so I was told to go to my current bank and get a bank statement so I left, went to my bank and got a statement when I got back to fnb they again said they can not use it. I have a home loan and a vehicle loan with fnb so you can loan me 1.8m but don't want to accept my savings with the same proof of address which is from the same company nor from my current bank what the? Steve?
