Hi,
Can someone assist us me and my wife, my wife went to the bank to ask assistance with house subsidy documents. On the forms she took to the bank it states clearly that it should be completed by the bank, take note that our house is financed by Standard bank. When she asked the consultant to assist her, the consultant ask her to produce something that shows that she stays at that place that the bank is financing e.g. any statement of MTN/Vodacom etc, by then she didn't have anything. So what worries me is as from when we are suppose to produce proof of residence when you need help from the bank, especially if you have existing account with the bank? Or it operate differently when you have a bond? She had her ID documents (before married and after she changed her surname). Is ID documents not enough to ask help from the bank?
