UNETHICAL SERVICE PROVIDED BY STANDARD BANK

ON SATURDAY I RECEIVED A TEXT MESSAGE FROM THE STUPID STANDARD BANK SAYING MY ACCOUNT WAS NO LONGER FICA COMPLIANT AND THEY TOLD ME TO BRING MY ID AND PROOF OF RESIDENCE. ON SUNDAY I TRIED WITHDRAWING CASH FROM THE STANDARD BANK ATM BUT I COULDN'T. ON MONDAY 28 JANUARY 2013 I WENT TO STANDARD BANK EASTGATE THE TELLER TOLD ME THAT I CAN NOT USE MY UNIVERSITY PROOF OF REGISTRATION (WITH MY ADDRESS DETAILS) AS PROOF OF RESIDENCE. YOU KNOW WHAT THEY CAN KEEP THEIR SERVICE BECAUSE I'M MOVING TO A BETTER BANK, WHICH IS NOT JUST A STANDARD BANK. HOW COULD THEY REJECT UNIVERSITY PROOF OF REGISTRATION BECAUSE MY ACCOUNT IS A STUDENT ACHIEVER, IT REALLY DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. I' M NOT JUST A STANDARD CUSTOMER.
