Application for check account

I did an online application for a check account with FNB, I made a human error by clicking yes on dept counselling, one of the consultants phoned me and said I can get the account but without the benefit of ebuck. What??? I asked the guy to correct it as I made a mistake and he said he can do nothing about it. I don't even have dept. Thought there are ways to find stuff like that out?
