I Went to the Vanderbijlpark Vaal Mall Branch on 29/04/2013 to apply for a home loan further advance on my property.
I was helped by Christel Cloete - Platinum banker who was very helpful and friendly initially and helped me get the documents needed for my application and to send them through.
I queried whether my wife would need to also sign as i am married in community of property but was told that since i bought my property prior to getting married this would not be necessary.
Great. Sent the documents and waited.
The loan was then approved and interest rate etc given and sent to the lawyers/attorneys.
That is when i was informed that i would need to re-apply for the loan as in the application sent through it did not state i was married in community of property and that a joint application would have to be made.
This is now 2 weeks after the first application! I asked Christel via mail for advise etc but no response.
Ok sent through second application with my wife's details, Maki Meloto assisted as Christel was on training.
Claims of mails sent never received and now apparently incorrect surname details sent by the branch so the process stopped yet again!!! No help
